Took lots of good pictures today, but too tired to get them uploaded just now. The beagle and I are settled into our hotel room just north of Knoxville. Tomorrow is the last leg of the drive, another 6 or 7 hours, and then I land at my dad's in Beaufort. Yay!

Stay safe! If the hurricane is resulting in severe weather, please consider staying put. Better to arrive late than to not arrive at all.
Hurricane, if it hits the coast, will be far north of here, in NC. Am here in Beaufort, SC @ my dad's place now. Soooo exhausted - and the beagle is too. She never did lay down & sleep, or even really stay put in one spot for long. Thank god that drive's over, though thankfully it was largely uneventful.
